Rugged Notebooks Guide

Here’s my background.

I was in the Air Force and fixed a military computer system for nine years (not PCs). I also worked communications systems for a year. I got out, took a few programming and calculus classes, but ended up getting my degree in biology. I am going to the Army as an officer and plan to work in signals, which is their IT division. I would be getting this degree through Webster in a coop program they have with the military.

Which degree would open me up to the better career in the civilian world?

The representative working at the T-Mobile booth asked for my social security # while entering my personal demographics into their computer system?

The rep was so overly pushy and wanted to close a deal as soon as I started asking questions about their various rates and plans, but I turned him down and let him know I couldn’t make any final decisions at the moment, but would get back to him as soon as I discussed it with my family. He was also hesitant to give me a name card w/c eventually he reluctantly did, when I gave him the final – I CANNOT SIGN UP FOR ANY PLANS AT THIS TIME.

Do you suppose they’ll use my personal information to serve their needs? If they DO ~ who and where will I report to?

When I call customer service for virgin mobile I always know more about the phone and network than the service reps. they sound like they are reading off of scripts on computers and allot of times give very illogical answers. They also seem to panic if you ask a question that is not a listed question on there computer system. I have asked several times to talk to someone that actually knows about my phone, the network and there abilities but they say they cannot connect me to anyone who has any technical knowledge about my phone or the network.

What I want?
Wish to connect mobile to the computer and make calls by copying and pasting numbers stored in an excel sheet.
