I have all my programs closed (even the processes running in the background) and stopped some services. Then I have Advanced SystemCare 4’s Turbo Booster on and I’m using Game Booster. All Minecraft’s settings are at the lowest and it still lags and freezes! Why can it not play right? I have no viruses, I use AVG Internet Security 2011 and I hardly download anything.

I recently reformatted my friends Compaq Presario 3000 CTO Notebook PC and have no sound. He no longer has his reformat disk and cannot find any sound drivers to reinstall sound. Is there anyone out there able to help me out with this??
